Default JGY LSD installation

JGY LSD Installation Guide
(for Nissans)
***********************************
FWD Installation: (with factory LSD)
1. Remove differential
2. Remove outer ring gear (final gear) so that locking dowel pin can be removed
3. Remove factory LSD (2 phillip screws)
4. Remove locking dowel pin that holds the Pinion mate shaft in place.
5. Install JGY LSD into differential so that Pinion mate shaft can be re-inserted
6. Install Pinion mate shaft
7. Install locking dowel pin.
8. Using Vise Grips or a suitable tool, remove the links (on both sides of the LSD) that hold the JGY LSD together. This will allow the JGY LSD to push out on the spider gears.
9. Install outer ring gear
10. Install differential
#### if installing into B15 style trans, you must disassemble JGY LSD and reassemble JGY LSD with factory LSD still off, then compress in a vise to reassemble bolts

FWD Installation: (without factory LSD) such as SR20DE and GA16DE cars
1. Remove locking dowel pin that holds the Pinion mate shaft in place.
2. Install JGY LSD into differential so that Pinion mate shaft can be re-inserted
3. Install Pinion mate shaft
4. Install locking dowel pin.
5. Using Vise Grips or a suitable tool, remove the links (on both sides of the LSD) that hold the JGY LSD together. This will allow the JGY LSD to push out on the spider gears.
6. Install outer ring gear
Install differential

RWD Installation:
1. Remove differential
2. Remove outer ring gear (final gear) so that locking dowel pin can be removed
3. Remove locking dowel pin that holds the Pinion mate shaft in place.
4. Install JGY LSD into differential so that Pinion mate shaft can be re-inserted
5. Install Pinion mate shaft
6. Install locking dowel pin.
