Default Mike Ko*ima: The dodger and the manipulator

In 2003, as some of our Sentra customers may remember, we got royally thrown under the bus by this dude involving PAR gear stacks.

What some of you may not know is that he set this whole deal up, and yet anytime something went bad, he would claim no connection or involvement.

First, Sam from PAR and Mike set the prices on the SR20forum.......but what many people may not know is that when we bought them, they raised the price for what we had to pay........and then every set we sold broke......and when the S hit the fan, Mike was "not involved". It got so bad that he wrote an article on Turbo Magazine listing us as the supplier when in fact we weren't........and then pushed us to be a distributor because the article was coming out.............well, we learned the hard way about "trust" in this industry.

I have always been intrigued with his ability to set these deals up and get people to do stuff, but not really get so into it that if it goes bad or sour, he can step out with no problems and still sleep well at night.

By the way, PAR still owes us money and a transmission to this day.

Below, I will post some emails from years past in between Mike and myself......involving a book that Shaun Stewart and myself contributed information to.........and it's my belief that Mike got the book out....and then sold/traded the rights of the book to Sarah Forst, so that he could not be easily gotten for stealing our contributions...........and as some of you know, she published a book with what I discuss.

Also, you will see where Mike bought a motor from us.....and then claims to have not bought it and passes the buck again onto another person.........
He bought it from us and told us that we would get recognition for giving it away at cost and helping with labeling.........well...how can we get after him, if he again........"gives" the project to someone else......and we don't get the recognition? very very tricky.

I wouldn't let him borrow a $1. He would somehow figure out how to trade it to someone and claim he didn't get anything from you.

So........Shaun and I spent a considerable amount of time writing these chapters and thus sent them.

Also, said motor was shipped to the address of JWT for Mike.

so, 2 years later, I send him this email:

The magazine article never mentioned us and the book, which I have found doesn't mention us at all.
