I am not sure where the VE came into play.

I'll hold my thoughts on VE builds for another thread.

But, with a 92 stroke you can get really close to 2.5.

Any updates to this?

Really looking forward to seeing a good build thread on a stroker sr!

Hoping to do a 91mmx90mm SR myself come spring...

well, that mazdawork place sells Furious Racing cranks......or from them and I don't like the counterweight design.

We only use BC cranks and I feel they are better.

We ended up going to a 92mm stroke. The customer (hint hint) needs to pay some more so that we can catch up on this build.

Our prices are really good on the BC cranks.

What is it about the counterweight design that you don't like from the furious racing cranks?

btw never heard of them..

I have been eyeing using either the Mazworx or BC 91mm crank.

What sleeves are you guys using in the build? Will it be Darton or JGY's?

What piston and rod combo?

I'm not going to get into a discussion of competitors cranks......and that's cool. They don't make crankshafts and we don't either, we don't make sleeves, but we have them made to our spec. The cranks they sell are not wrong, just have some features that I find inferior to the BC cranks. For example, I like Eagle rods more than BC.

We sell and stock BC 91mm cranks and BC 92mm cranks. If you want, we can get a 94.4mm crank. We have done them in the past.

I'm getting confused on what build you are referring to. We have at least 4 stroker motors getting built right now in the building.

In reference to this one, I think we are using Brian Crower Extreme's which are a step up from their Pro's, and I think are Manley rods.

OBVIOUSLY, we are using JGY sleeves......that silly to ask. Our latest version of them are amazing. You can see some of their attributes here: www.srsleeves.com

The BC is the way to go we use a bunch of them and they are well made....I can't say that for the competitors and we will be using our sleeves
