Question SR20 Gearbox (MT) Frankenstein

I did some research and found out that the A32 Maxima gearbox (MT) can be mated with a GTi-R bell housing and bolted up. My question now is: will the A32 gearbox mate with the Bluebird or Primera bell housing and bolt up? The A32 has a stronger gear-set so it would withstand higher HP and torque.

When you eat, do you use a modified aluminum fork handle that is JBwelded to a steele butter knife that has been bent into a spoon shape?

We like you man, but almost everything you ask about is way outside the box. I and the staff of JGY have no clue if that will fit or mate up...........not to mention servicing the item.

Expect the unexpected. Conventional is no fun, you have to find innovative ways of doing stuff.

I WOULD appreciate some help in my research. You would more likely have access to these pieces so you could even try it. I'm going to PM you some info.

Ok, after doing further research I've found that the FWD RS5F50A/V (Bluebird U12/U13) bell-housing is compatible with the A32 gearbox. I've even had a mechanic try the U13 bell-housing on the A32 gearbox and it fits quite nicely. Also, the U13 bell-housing can bolt directly to the SR series engines.

Haven't bolted it to the engine as yet however the U13 bell-housing can bolt to any SR series engine; so theoretically it should work.

Question

Before I embark on this Frankenstein gearbox build, I want to use some "stronger" OEM axles. Which model Maxima (A32 or J30) are compatible with the RS5F32 series gearbox?
