so basically this thing can be adjusted to open and close your down pipe or your manifold or some where down the exhuast piping??? and to me it seems the only positive things that could come from using this thing would be fine tuning the back pressure for daily driving and maybe if where dB laws apply this a better alternative to silencer because the adjustable capabilities. i know i haven't been in the tuner scene very long but i've never heard of QTEC/QTP?? so i guess i don't know how good of quality their products are, but this one doesn't seem like a "necessity" item.

i don't think this is a must have item i just think that if you were looking for a quick open down pipe for the moment this would be good. not sure if its the best think but i wanted one for my mr2 turbo but never got around to it because no one i knew had used it.
