check out the picture, my car bogged down when i pulled out, wouldnt idle, so i pulled the maf sensor of and it was covered in water, unhooked the blue hose goin to the black box thats circled and it has water all in it. i think its ruined my maf sensor, i pulled one off of friends 92' 240 and the car ran just fine, but when we took it off it was wet too. its not raining, my filter is dry, and there is no water in my engine bay. can i just plug that black box and be done with it? Is it possible to dry and clean my sensor or am i better of just replacing it?

I'm more concerned with why the water is there. What's the weather like?

found out that the AIV (pair valve) is worn out and is allowing condensation back into my intake, and ultimately ruined my MAF. I've unhooked it and put in a new maf and the car runs fine. eventually going to do a total AIV delete.

Sorry I apparently skipped right over that part.

Glad you figured it out.
