We need a suspension thread to discuss things like allignment and shock set up. maybe even seperate between RWD/FWD. im still not sure about these K-SPORTS. I think my kidneys are bleeding.

I was going to be going to K-SPORT this summer. What's your problem(s) with them?

Im having a little toruble with ballance and spring preasure. bumbs are causing a table top motion. if you on a smooth road these things are great i have no complaints there but under load the car is a handfull. i would rate them excellent for track use but street use even on the softest setting my kidneys are starting to hurt. im going back in the morning and we are going to put scales under the front and rear and try to get some sort of base line for preasure that way.

If you could keep me informed it would be most appreciated. Coming up quick on my list is the suspension because my kidneys also hurt, and I was thinking K-Sport actually but if there is no way to get a streetable setup on bad roads I may have to look elsewhere. Plows here destroy our roads, quite badly.

I put the car back on the alignment rack but was unable to use the weights to adjust the spring preasure. I was able to lower the spring and get it less bouncy but now i dont know how much travel i have left. the ride is much better though. as of now im happy with the ride. im set on soft and still have the fender about 1-1/2" above the tire. thats higher than i want but im not bottoming out. the stering issue under full power seems to get better the softer we set the springs.
I like this system it just takes awhile to set them up. as of now we have 5 hours on an alignment machine and test driving. i would still like to know what the spring rate is set at but that'l be another day.
I dont have a local track so we created one using diferent situations in the area yesterday and i will admit that with this tire and suspension set up i was really happy. it is very predictable. i didnt drive it to the point of a full powereslide but it hooked up weel enough to know i would need a harness instead of a regular seat belt for an acurate track day. btw im still useing the factory se-r sway bars with energy suspesion bushions all the way around.
we have a shop that specializes in race care setup but thats about $400. i plan for that this summer. i give jason a good shout out on this one for the sugestion i was going to do agx with eibach or tiens coil overs but im now certain after i get all the data and set them up like i want them the performance and cost are what i was looking for.

He's right......once you do the math, the Ksports are a better value than buying a set of non-adjustable lowering springs and a set of adjustable struts.

Nathan, pee-ing excellence as you do, this is what I found..................

My blue Sentra: http://www.jgy.cc/Cars%204%20Sale/Srt4killer.htm (http://www.jgy.cc/Cars%204%20Sale/Srt4killer.htm)
uses the Kontrol Pros. I love them. I have the springs set with just enough pre-load that I can still compress them just a touch with my hand,.........meaning that I don't have the squished between the lockers already. That is the softest that you can have them set at in the beginning. With that said, I use the suggested Ksport base setting of turning the 32 way adjustable all the way to the lowest damper setting, the (I can't remember, something like 1 turn back).

With that said............under hard acceleration on several different style roads, I am getting unwanted wheel spin due to not having enough car weight on the front going over certain dips and rebounding. For my taste, my springs are too stiff.

When I put on the Ksports on my G20, I opted for a little unknown, but available option from all the sexy JGY staff of going for a softer spring rate from Ksport. Ksport suggest 7 in the front for Sentras and 5 in the rear (I think that is Kilog's)
Oddly enough for the G20, they suggest 10 front a 4 rear! I ordered 7 front and 5 rear as I know that 4 wrong as the car is heavier than a Sentra, so a 6 would be more fair, so even though they have the wrong normal *factory* suggestions, I ended up going softer in the front and the rear in comparison to what they should suggest.

For those that don't know.........my G20 is SLAMMED. http://www.jgycustoms.com/serg20/suspension.htm
Those are 18's in that photo.

My G20 rides awesome! It rides better than my Sentra. When you order them from us, we can give you the specs and ship you the softer version of them. All our customers have been happy so far.
