View Full Version : Euro motor makes 140HP!

Guys,

Jason just got done dyno'ing the white car with the SR Euro motor with our pullies and flywheel and exhaust

he got 139.2 HP and 126 torque! He told me that's on a motor rated at 150HP. At a 15% power loss, that should be 127.5. So, our power adders put down about 12 more HP at the wheels.

That's it, I'm selling my B16 and getting an SR. I'm tired of this working out crap. Apparently, all you have to do is drive an SR car and the chicks are on you cuz Jason's no 10!

I was hoping for 140HP and we actually got it. It's a fun quick little car.

and to all those nay sayers, that's with our 3 inch exhaust on a non-turbo'd car.........it's loud, but it's quick

yea 140 horsepower is nice...we'll see how fast it really is saturday...

and if it can keep up with my honda...the torqueless wonder

I was ready to go last week, but he and I decided that it was raining per the weather and the issue that his girlfriend was there while it was raining.........but of course, it stopped raining because we didn't go.

The other thing that really bugged me is that he and I probably called every F'ing phone number listed on streetfights and bristoldragway's websites and no one ever answers the phones. That also made me think it was closed.

I don't want to go now. I also don't like the issue that it's so late. They should have it start at 12pm like they used to. Also, none of my employees would go anyway.

I have spent the day working on our golf cart, making changes to the forum, and doing paperwork. The BMW video should be up soon.

Mike, the next time you go to them, I'll go as well.
