Brake Caliper Sticking

One of my calipers are sticking. A few years ago the same caliper was sticking and I replaced it. Well its doing the same thing.

Whats up with this?
Is it because I replaced one instead of both at the same time?
Anybody have any ideas with this problem? I don't want to keep replacing the same caliper every 3 years lol.

Overhaul all four corners with Wilwoods ;) But seriously they're great

Check the pistons to make sure that the dust covers haven't separated. If they have they are a snap to reseat but you should put some graphite lube on them to prevent them from sticking again.

I just replaced the whole setup. Needed new rotors anyways.

Not bad, but you should have taken the caliper apart before you painted it. There are a few pieces in it that are rubber and plastic and such that paint could damage. The biggest ones to worry about are the dust covers that cover the pistons, paint will make it less flexible and prone to separating or cracking. Once that happens then you run the risk of your brakes sticking again. Not to mention that painting the whole assembly as one piece can cause pieces to stick together as the paint will act like glue.
