Ok gents here is the scoop. I am having serious issues with hesitation coming into boost. It happens primarily in 1st and second gear under partial throttle. Once I get to third gear with WOT the hesitation eases slightly. As long as I stay under 3500 RPM it accelerates easy, but as soon as I start to build boost the engine hiccups and doesn't accelerate or build more RPM's

Setup: GT28 Disco Potato
370CC Injectors
Greddy BOV recirc'd
JWT ECU
Clost to stock timing (about 16-17*)
New Bosch Platinum 2 plugs, wires, cap and rotor
fresh Cometic headgasket
New MAF
stock head internals
stock bottom end

Things I have tried:
Soften and harden the spring on the BOV. Hardening the spring causes compressor surge

Verified TPS voltage. TPS was off so swapped with a known good from my parts car, checked the TPS and set at .34 Ohm at closed throttle

Swapped BOV. Blocked off recirc port and swapped for a TurboXS type H-RFL, all it did was increase the compressor surge

Checked the IC couplers (still may be the culprit) Verified by look and a couple by re-tightening the clamps. Tomorrow if no dice I will undo each clamp and remove the associated pipe to seat it again.

If anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated. I leave for Afghanistan in less than a month and want to have the car in good running order before I take off.

Jason, if I was to try to drive the car up to JGY on Friday how much would it cost me to just get it looked at. I know how hard it is to try to diagnose over the phone and how much you just LOVE me calling you all the time lol.
Check TPS

Update: Tried a few more things -
Installed NGK Irridium plugs, stock gap.

Removed the fuel pressure sender from the fuel line as the fitting seemed to be leaking.

Tried to verify timing but seems as though my timing light is dead, can't get it to work.

Symptoms update: The bogging/hesitation is similar to when I blew off a coupler before. As long as I drive very gingerly it won't bog, but I never get into boost. As soon as I get into boost it sputters and I have to let off to get it to run smooth again. This didn't happen when I was running the T25 at 7 PSI, is it possible that I received either a bad turbo or bad MAF?

Sounds like a problem with the MAF. I had a similar problem. Hestiation during acceleration, stuttering during acceleration.

I've done some research on the MAF problems. What happens sometimes, the prongs in the MAF break and cause a disconnection, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless you look inside of it. This is caused because of age and sometimes it is cause by vibration. A simple fix is to replace it, or solder the prong back.

Here is an instruction video on how to repair a Nissan MAF if its broken or malfunctioning.

I guess also try to clean the fuel system components: injectors, check fuel filter, stuff like that.

Hope this helps somewhat.

I appreciate the assistance but it is all on the guys at JGY now. Got it up there, having some work done while I am gone and eagerly anticipating getting home and driving my baby again.
