I'm sure everyone has had the experience to enjoy the code P0100 to show up from the check engine light.
Its usually something is going wrong with the MAF sensor and you just replace it.
I just got my 3rd MAF sensor for my B14 200SX 1.6L. Does anyone think that there is something more to this problem?
It there a short in the wiring and it keeps tripping?
Is it something else and it keeps the MAF messing up?

Anyone had this problem before? If so how did you fix it?

is the hot wire inside the maf broken??? if so, something is getting inside and breaking it. that wire is hot and runs off the cold air hitting it. in this process it creates resistance. or your pig tail could be dried up and loose. i try to put the plug grease on all of mine to keep the water out and and the rust off. we need a little more info still. does the car still run or what?? how was the car running before the code?

oh and where is the maf located. is it rubbing anything. vibration could have something to do with it.

after looking at this it looks like it might be hitting the strut tower. the engine will move a little and it looks like that could be it. also your intake looke like it has a huge vibration issue. is it touching any part of the car?

The car is running fine now, but I'm on my 3rd MAF sensor. I'm just saying that it might go out again, and I'm trying to find out if there is a reason for it to go out constantly. The MAF doesn't hit the strut bar, but the intake piping is not bolted down to anything. It resting on the bottom panel that I made. So you think vibration has something to do with it? I guess this weekend I'll find a way to bolt it to the car so it doesn't move that much. And exactly what part do you put grease on? On the pigtail, what part of the pigtail?
