how's the car running?

I had to go to Hickory NC today to get some bar stools with Heather for the counter at the kitchen.

I thought it would be nice to use the Garmin for directions..........after it sent us down Nicks Creek, then over to 16, then over to nowhere, then through the place next to nowhere, I was ready to find Mr. Garmin and shuv dis thing in his arse..............we lost all this time to just go back to I77.

any way, 22.5chevy went the whole way fine, the cross over pipe and the lift pump seems to keep the EGT's a tad lower

so......after finally getting to a road that is paved, we hit an Arby's for lunch, so after double parking with the big rig, and ordering, I look out and notice another crew cab with 22.5's......... it was a Ford with low pro 22.5's and slammed That's the first time I've seen another 18wheeler kit truck in the same area as ours. It was low, as the rubber was hidden by the fenders. As he left...........stock exhaust.....just another wanna-be.

As we walk out from my ketchup lunch, I notice the 2 Graham guys from Marion eating in the same restaurant and their 745 outside. As a courtesy, I horned them on the way out.

The Garmin said I hit a max of 82.4mph on the trip. I know no knowledge of that.

The moral to this story is to get up early, work hard, and play late.:eek:
