So I got my 96 SE-R with the DET swap, 370cc injectors. Car's been assembled almost a year ago but has had some fuel issues. Last year, I could get it to start and then stay running after holding the throttl down till she warmed up. Sweet.

I get her towed home so I can finish her there. Now, when I go to start her she bogs down, and I have to hold the gas to keep her afloat. I pulled the plugs out. 1 & 4 are wet, 2 & 3 plugs are solid white. I'm guessing lean, no fuel from the injectors. I switched the injectors around on the rail, but haven't had a chance to fire up again to see if it's the 2 & 3 injectors.

If it's not the injectors, what else do you guys think it may be? Could it be something with the JWT computer, or the wiring, or could there be a leak in the intake around the port runners for 2 & 3? I need help and I need it now.

I'll update as soon as I get the chance to fire the car up with the injectors swapped. I just hope to Hell I'm not over looking something small here. It's been over 2 years since I've had this car on the street, and I'm getting antsy and a little frustrated. HELP!!!

And yes, I ask a lot of questions...lol

I would doubt that it is the JWT computer. Fire it up and see if the plug colors change, then let us know

Actually, I got it all figured out. It took a little staring at the engine and brain racking for a while, but I got it figured out. TUrns out the injectors harness was run under the intake (high port) and then routed from left to right. Basically putting connector #1 on injector #4, all backwards.

After I started it, it would start initially then bog down. And this happened for a while and was bothering me, so I held the throttle down hoping it would stay after it warmed up. Suddenly, the oil pressure light came on. I shut the engine off and all my oil had puked out. F*ckin' wonderful.

After cleaning up Valdez and cleaning off the engine, I noticed an open vaccum port on the intake manifold, down behind the throttle body. One that is not on your vaccum routing diagram, by the way.

So, I put in some oil, ran a line to the vaccum port to the intake piping, added some coolant, crossed my fingers and turned the key. She started up without a hitch, purred fine (albeit with a high idle), let her run till fully warm and she was fine. Though she started to have a bit of a miss in the idle, which I'm assuming is due to the need of a tune-up, I believe I'm finally close to having her on the road. Hooray!!!

So never mind...lol
