Let's say I found an RB20 for $1500. It's the complete install pieces, not to mention McKinney Motorsports motor mounts, an R32 LSD, and some Nismo goodies. How straightforward is that to install into a S-chassis? If it has all that, should it basically just drop in and wire up? I'm considering buying it once I find me a nice donor car.

Thoughts and opinions?

I found everything I need (except an S chassis) to do a swap for $1500. That's engine, tranny, wiring, ECU, mounts, yadda yadda. All that's missing is a radiator (whoo) and a clutch. But those aren't an issue.

What I'm wanting to know is, does the RB20 drop straight in?

And I've already seen this engine and extras in person. Seems like a straight buy.

I mean everything for that price I wouldn't pass up. They're right you'll do about the same with an SR20, but I think there's a coolness factor that the RB motor would have.
