Set your calendars boys and girls.
October 8th 2011 at Virginia International Raceway is the XDC exhibition drift show and the Remix Car Show.
For those of you (like Shamcock) that don't venture out much to venues, the VIR racetrack is something to be seen. Imagine Southern Charm poured all over a 30 million dollar racetrack...........and that's what you get. It's like grabbing Paula Dean and grating her over your favorite race track.
We went there 2 years ago and had a great time. The drift course is a little odd in it's set up but still nice. The pits are in a few places and are very excessible for you to see the cars. Often, there seems to be a few different events going on............like vintage car racing/open wheel racing/and drifting all at once in different spots..........
JGY will be attending and we hope you guys will go to. We go ahead and assume most of you will back out at the end so we won't keep our hopes up higher than normal for the attendence.
Thanks

I hope the weather is nice. It's a nice drive there as well. We will have a nice day trip.
It's a neat facility to go to if you haven't been before.
With your vast netting working community, you guys should be able to get a few of your buddies to go: Ronald, Wojo, Matt, Andrew's Mom, Logan, Courtney Street.

I plan on us leaving at 8am or so.
I know that you guys say some locals are going.
I assume that will NOT be going, or they will not go with us.
What is the list of who is going?
Also, why is "nip slip, drugs, and andrew" listed in the tags for this thread?

maybe if the cell phone trick would cuddle less in the front of the store with Asshole's roommate, she would have more time to make the CD
It's NOT going to rain on her.

I had a great time there.
We saw quite a bit of racing........most of which I was not sure what I was watching.......NASA, with several different classes
Apparently, we watched:
1. Instructional class, where you drove with an instructor
2. Beginner class, where you drove alone
3. something
4. something
5. something else
I would guess they were hitting speeds of over 120mph easily. We saw several B13 race cars, no B14's, and no B15's. We saw 2 S14 cars, both SR turbo'd. I know one was doing the instructional class. We saw one G35 that had a momentum turbo kit on it as well.
Some of the cars were definitely competing/hitting each other/minor wrecking.
One of the B13's, Josh saw had our motor mount kit installed......that was cool.
We met one 240sx guy that told us he didn't buy a his turbo and ECU management from us because we didn't have a dyno.......that wasn't really cool to hear.......and it was oddly phrased.
The trip was very easy as 58 is now mostly 4 lanes. It took a little over 3 hours each way.
We met Glenn Stafford III with his B13 there. He mentioned that he had driven there with a girl, but couldn't find her.
The car show was about 20 HOT cars..........not 200, but 20.........and no one knew why. People from NY even drove there. There was an R34 Skyline there and......................
There was a pretty 1969 Fairlady Z with an SR20DET S14 motor with an GT2871R in it............really really neat.
I talked to the little guy for a while about my 2 Fairladies and his. He was very pleasant and one 2 trophies.

I loved watching all the B13's on the track and watching Josh take 2 hours to drink a Foster's beer. so queer
I might start looking for another roommate.

The classes seemed odd to me...You would see a couple civics and than a whole bunch of Porsches and there was a definite difference in speed...
Jason@JGY
10-12-2011, 10:01 AM
I would assume due to money they were faster, my little Fosters buddy
