That's what I thought...So what are you using to lower yours? Just like slip on coils or what

abonham87

An SR would be a nice way to go with it....I think the RBs fill the engine bay really well though

abonham87

i guess it all depends on your plans for the car... im a power to weight ratio kinda a guy so the sr would be great. you could push that thing so far back almost like a mid engine compared to the l28

I cant wait to see the progress with your car.

Are you planning any real motorsports competitions like drifting or auto-x?...or just planning to have a nice ride for cruisin and layin the smack down on anyone who wants to test the Z?

I see what you're after visually...me likey

thanks!

i plan to do some auto-x maybe some road course track days, i like grip. but who knows getting side ways is fun haha, i dont think i have seen anyone drift a s30 z ha

and of course some spirited back road runs;)

i dont plan on making ridiculous numbers, i would like to make a responsive 300-350 to the wheels.and then just cut out as much weight that can be spared and dial the suspension...

and yea, these cars can have style for miles i love it.

or

http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i356/abonham87/sr.jpg

i just love how light of a setup this would be, and the weight distribution with the motor pushed so far back to the firewall pretty much all the way behind the struts...mmmmm

Yea all of the weight is behind the front struts. And not to mention the SR has to weigh considerably less then the L28 so thats a big weight savings

abonham87

no doubt, the car weighs roughly 2400 right now with the l28.

i believe the l28 w/tranny is like 520lbs and the sr with tranny is what 450 give or take?
