Approximately at the end of January, we will have our dyno delivered. After much research and findings, we decided to go with the Mustang 1100-SE Chassis Dynamometer.
There are alot of features that will benefit both JGY and it's customers. Some of them are as follows:
In-ground install for ease of operation
1700HP measuring capability
Closed Loop Windows Based Software
Huge double 30 rollers
225mph max speed
Eddy Current (this means we can do try TOTAL stand alone engine management and calibration with no driving the car on the road needed ever) This is ideal for steady state fuel calibration, road-load simulation, 1/4 mile passes
Air/Fuel measuring
Integrated Weather Station
OBD interface
This is a very nice dyno and we are looking forward to using it.

The Mustang dyno is suppose to be the more real world dyno numbers of any dyno right now, only thing is, most people don't realize this, and think they are not as accurate as the dynometer, because it gives a somewhat higher numbers!

Dynojet is who you mean. Don't get me wrong, they are good.
That is who Dsport mag wanted us to go with.........but after much research, and the issue that they don't seem to commonly use or sell eddy current load absorber.
Many places don't use one, but for us, I think the option to use it and the opportunity to do load testing will come in very handy.

My car is due to be DYNOED on a DYNO DYNAMICS dyno i ws told that is a load based dyno that can start reading at very low RPM's thus getting a very very accurate tune do you think this is true?

yes, it's a load based dyno
not sure about the low RPM's. Ours reads from what ever RPM you are at. If you want to dyno from 500rpm to 8000, you can here you should be fine

so these types of dynos are better than a dynojet i know they show lower hp #'s but I was told they are a more precise tuneing tool . true or not?
