word on the street is that someone at JGY has a turbo'd KA and doesn't have it in his truck

I hear it has allot of low end torque and quick spool to 15 psi.

Just a note on Bubba's 350z. Yes it is turboed and he just dynoed it and it threw down 389hp. He wants to lean it out with an AFC to try and hit 400hp. So there is the magic number, I guess.

the ka24det (truck motor) was there. I was a bit disappointed. we got there late that the track was packed. it was my fist time to this track and the first time with the new clutch. my first run, pulled up and the car rolls forward and I red light so not times. second run, I went light off the line and got a 13.2. third run I left better and got a 13.0. after my 3rd run they closed the track. I was running 12.8 at Virginia motorsprots park so I was hoping for at least that. I am sure I could have with my next run. I didnt take anything out. Spare tire, jack and everything in the car.
