Hi Jason what's up guy? How's that new Mustang Dyno coming along?Well, just like the title says we swapped in a completely stock pulsar motor into a classic se-r minus the tmic and it's running rich as sh*t.I haven't put any after market stuff on it yet just for trouble shooting reasons. The MAF is good from what I can tell.It misfires when taken off.The fuel pump in the car is kinda crappy but works.Should I check the pressure?I figured I'd ask you jason since you do this for a living and all.Have you ever done a swap like this and had the car run rich as all hell? It's smoking and spitting flames when reved.

Being a fellow milk lover, I will ask you a question that might help you answer your own question.

What ECU are you using and is it a JWT tuned for such an install?

now it's your problem lol. JK . Ironically I'm having the same problem on my b15 except it only runs for a few seconds and dies and I can rev it past 4000. Checked spark it's good. Checked fuel injectors spray, fuel pump primes even swapped oem back in, double checked my wiring on my b15 to b14 ecu swap as outlined on your site, lines and firing order are correct, checked ect sensor , MAF (b15). Haven't played with idle much because I should still be able to keep it running with my foot. I cleaned the cap up on the distributor , new plugs , new fuel , new oil etc. EVAP lines are unhooked and blocked off on the manifold. I will try hooking up the egr wire to the ECU even though it's a b14 ECU. Any help is greatly appreciated at this point thx. -BTW it was doing this same exact thing before I swapped the ECU.

what did u do to repair the rich issue. im almost positive the maf and maf wiring are good and yes the jwt ecu is mapped for this install. i have played with the fuel preasure and this helps a little but during the cam break in cycle it tryied to foul a plug. if you rev it up it will stumble to about 4.5-5k them slam the tach before i can back off. the confusing part with the maf pigtail is the larger white wire on the left is the signal and the smaller on right is th ecu signal. this is opisite from the harness. the ecu is the smaller and the 12v is larger. i even verified the pins back to the ecu im just dont have the warm fuzzies about the pigtail. i reversed the tps as well so im looking for any sugestions before i kill anymore wildlife. i am currently useing the gtir o2 sensor not the de one i wonder if that would cause it. it definetly gets worse the warmer it gets. whatta ya think about it.

he had it sent here and we re-did alot of the work and changed stuff, it's running perfectly and looks great too..........Jason washed the engine bay and Garland cleaned the inside of the car..........waiting for Edward to come get it.

that's fine

the cool thing about our forum is that is something is out of line.............we will just delete it and move on

Also, when we play around with people's signatures and stuff like that......it's really just to get them to learn to change it........and after it's changed, the goof ball stuff that was there......can't be seen anymore
I like keeping the forum light hearted and fun........and we hope you do too

also...........your photo of your car.........that's horrible
