In theory, that sounds like a great idea.
In fact.............................GEEZUS.
There are more cords and wires and gadgets than what you would think. Instructions? what instructions. Simple drop off? no that would be easy, how about Mustang choosing a trucking company that has an accident on your own property during the delivery? How about finding out that the anchors are to be installed before the floor was poured? How about spending countless hours setting stuff up with no instructions to find the instructions in box "4", even though all the boxes are labeled. This is crazy.
This has to be more complex than convincing a man to become a Priest.
Don't get me wrong, this thing is great, but after all this, I might just have "Mustang" tatood on my ring finger and save my lady the cost of a ring..........as I feel like I spend more time with it.

Darn....
Seems like they could send a trained tech out to help you get the ball rolling on that dyno, could help out the learning time on it.....much much quicker!!!!
Thinking it could take a long time if not..

yea you would figure if you are paying that much for something, that a co. like Mustang would send someone out there to help train you guys on the software and over all construction and proper destruction for maintainence. For example, my mom has her own embroidery (sewing) business out of our bonus room. She bought a $10,000 commercial sewing machine and the co. bought my mom and dad plane tickets and 3 days and nights at a hilton in Tampa for their training seminar (<<spell??) for new customers. but owell, putting the dyno together yourselves can help later down the road if something is to go wrong, it should be easier to figure out where the promblem might be coming from......buts that just my two cents

To their defense, we have a tech coming out here for 2 days of training at our convenience. That is a great thing because hopefully we can try to go through all the "what-ifs".
We also have a variety of cars to run to check to make sure all is correct, from RWD AWS cars, to FWD 500HP cars, to dually trucks.
The tech would in theory even help with the wiring and semi-installation, but........I would prefer to have my contractor do the wiring and drill the holes for the anchors than a guy that could show me how to data log something.
It's more of a time management thing......sure, I could learn how to set a car up for X test and learn how to retrieve data, but if someone could just show me in 1/8th the time, that gives me more time for building motors, etc.
The part that is silly, but overcome-able is that during the construction of the building putting in the anchors and simple things like that would have been no extra work.......now drilling into a new floor is extra work that could have been avoided.

when you come down here you will see, they are more like pots that are embedded in the concrete with a tab...........I ordered 4 more and they should be at work Wednesday
We still are awaiting water in the new building and heat.
