I have a 92, 240sx hatchback. Running 17" wheels with 205/45/17 tires. My rear struts are totally wasted so i'm going to replace all 4 with KYB GR-2's. I'd like to lower it a bit to cut out some gap between the tire and wheel well. I don't care about racing performance, i would just like to have it look good. I'm thinking no more than 1.75in drop. Does anyone have suggestions for what kind of springs to get? I don't wanna break my bank account but i don't want junk. Any help would be appreciated.

I have KYB-GR2's on all four corners with the Eibach street kit and I hate it. Worst idea I've had ever, unless you drive on glass smooth surfaces always. B14 not a 240 though.

It's so rough and transfers weight in strange ways when you go over bumps that makes the car a little sketchy when going +40mph. I actually thought it was alignment issues for the longest time but fresh off alignments form two different shops and it does the same thing. I did not do any sort of upgrades to the bumpstops so maybe that would help.

Cornering stability went up though that's for sure... Just don't hit a bump...
