im smoking heavy during high rpm deacceleration. i think it could be the pvc system dumping into the intake but am not sure yet. i know this problems can also accur with bad valve stem seals but im hoping that isnt it. i have less than 500 miles on these. anybody ever use a catchcan to avoid this problem?

............well, as with our intercooler kit, we don't allow the valve cover to vent back into the intake............if yours does, then that could be it
Alot of our customers use the Greddy Catch Can for the issue you describe.
It could also be your turbo.

It keeps getting better. when i disconnect the pvc hose and run it to a catch can the car smoke like a freight train. im not getting any oil in the inter cooler. i tried plugging and unplugging the vent connected to the valve cover on the right side. nothing seems to help i have to perform another compression check to see if maybe a ring broke. my guy at the machine shop is under the impression that i have blow by. i guess that's possible. im going to try and connect the vent on the right side of the valve cover and the pvc system both to the catch-can at the same time and see what that does but in theory that shouldn't change anything. if i don't have the pvc returning to the intake the oil shouldn't be getting in and causing it to smoke. this is back to blow by theory.
what about the oil separator line comming from the block? should i return it to the catchcan or plug it up?
btw i like the spell check feature. didnt notice it b4

Thanks for the help Jason.. it was the compression. apparently the nitrous had done more damage to the cylinders and rings than i thought. cylinder #2 is only pushing 30psi. after using a arthroscope to review the cylinder it is apparent i will have to sleeve this cylinder. time to get a third part time job now. going fast gets expensive. maybe ill have it fixed by July/Aug. well see

until you said something, I missed the spell check thing.......and yes, I love it too
Nitrous seems to do that to them...........a sleeve is like $56 from us, a cheap way to keep a block great!
